Finally got to see this once it became available on DVD in the UK along with others & watched it a few nights ago.
The films sees demonic forces in the Amityville house transfer to an ancient lamp, which finds its way to a remote California mansion where the evil manipulates a little girl by manifesting itself in the form of her dead father.
I found the film to be alright, but pretty dry & boring in areas. I mean, there some supernatural goings on occurring, but not enough in the dragged out 1 hour 30 minute film.
The visuals aren't bad as with the films story, but it sadly isn't memorable enough & pretty much feels samey, much like the previous 2 films before this with nothing unique out memorable in order for it to stand out from the rest or on its own.
Overall, it's not bad, with some supernatural visuals & some scary things going on. But, it's somewhat mundane & samey for a Amityville Sequel & sadly forgettable like the previous 2 entries.
5/10.
