Bisexual vampire girls prey on the unwary
22 September 2022
This film is set in a remote wooded area where a pair of beautiful young vampires, Fran and Miriam, prey on those who come their way. The latest potential victims are a trio of campers who take an interest in the somewhat creepy old house the vampires live in. Inevitably plenty of blood will be spilt; and plenty of flesh will be exposed.

When I sat down to watch this I knew nothing beyond the fact that it featured vampires and was quite short, under an hour and twenty minutes. I didn't know that it was a remake of a 1970s film, not that that would have made much of a difference as I don't think I've ever seen the original. It keeps the '70s aesthetic; if it wasn't for characters complaining that their mobile phones didn't work and a reference to 'The Blair Witch Project' I might have thought it was older. The story is fairly basic; really just an excuse to deliver victims to the house where they will be tormented and die. These scenes are fairly well done and manage to be surprisingly scary at times. There is a fair amount of sex and nudity; certainly considerably more than in most modern horror films. The acting is okay but nothing special. It is meant to be set in England but one wouldn't guess from watching except when one potential victim comments that the vampire girl doesn't sound English. Overall I wouldn't say this is close to being a must see but fans of exploitation horror may enjoy it.
