Pretty good. Was really impressed. The first third of the film focuses a lot more on the city and the general "political climate" of Romania. I thought that it was a good way of using the runtime . It avoids being overtly redundant and it also looks really good. It kind of felt like traveling to a foreing country and aimlessly walking its streets. I feel like this marriage of aesthetic freedom and political commentary is something that is quite hard to achieve and not many films can do it. The second third is a collage of videos and images accompanied by some commentary. This segment is probably the least entertaining but still as good as the other two. It makes the third part of the film a lot more comprehensible for someone that does not understand the history of Romenia at all. So when the director does this whole Brechtian archetype thing with the characters at the parents and teachers meeting you can actually understand what each parent is supposed to represent. This third segment is by far my favorite one. The one thing i have to complain about it is that the third "possible ending", to me at least, felt derivative and exploitative.
