'Bang Bang You're Dead' was made 20 years ago. I wonder if you had told them that 20 years from now very little would be done in that time to prevent them and that they would be even more prevalent than they were back then, whether they would've been surprised or realised it was inevitable. Will they still be an issue 20 years from now in 2042? Let's be honest, almost certainly.
This film is a tough watch. It's pretty heavy material. I find watching film's like this makes me angry. Angry that people don't stand up for themselves. Or if they do stand up for themselves they're the ones that get in trouble. Also people who don't stand up for others. And then there's the useless teachers who couldn't care less as long as they get their pay cheque at the end of the week. It's sad just how realistic this film feels.
I think different people will get different things out this movie, but almost every one will be able to find some part of it to connect with. 7/10.
