I love the book! So I eagerly waited and dreaded the series. First of all the casting for Prabhu (especially), Karla and Khader Khan is spot on.
Even as a non-native English speaker Charlie's accent just sounds weird to me(is he from Birmingham or something?). The scenery, music and overall vibe is good (at least what I imagine Bombay would feel like).
To me it seems they stayed as close to the source material as possible in an adaptation.
Not sure if this is season 1 or the whole book in 1 season, but the stage is now set with all the characters for the story to really turn it up. Looking forward to episode 4.
