Renewed life

Høst: Autumn Fall is chef, restaurant owner, artist and film-auteur Jan Vardøen's first feature, and i wasn't able to watch it in the cinemas, as it didn't get the wide release as his later movies, as I've all liked

Vardøen's films tells that he has a lot on his heart, and this release on Netflix does also mean som e of his other films are released here. I recommend all of them.

All of Vardøen's film are about the smaller things in life which also are the most important around people, and this is no exception.

The soft comical approach gives it a light touch to otherwise serious questions. Vardøen har gotten hold of some good Norwegian actors som of them of the biggest stars in the 70'ies, 80'ies and 90'ies as well as the young main role which does a brilliant job.

The film has a twist, which I'm not going to tell, but it adds to both the comical and serious aspects of the movie.

The movie also gives some great 2015 street views of Oslo, which I enjoyed.
