What in the world did I just watch? I read some comments saying this was a horrible attempt on a movie called 'Rebecca'. I've never seen it but based on the reviews I may give it a try to replace the anxiety this movie gave me. It left me with the type of anxiety when a movie annoys you so badly you just can't take it.
So a few questions though there are many plot holes, these three are my top: 1. So if, Ms. Menabar aka Margo was poisoning (darn it forgot her name- the lead) then who was poisoning Margo? Or was she really sick? If sick, then from what? What exactly happened? I'd like a little more back story.
2. Why when Margo was choking the lead, didn't she just say lady look, the reason I wanted to get out of here is because of you. If Margo wasn't doing all that creepy ish to her, then she wouldn't have wanted to go. She had to have know Tom was gonna do what his wife wanted.
3. The creepy town folk. What was up with them? Especially Alice, like one minute you're my friend and the next you hate me? At least the lady in the grocery store was consistent in her feelings of not liking her. Also, first Tom was a cute boy, equally loved as his wife, as they hosted parties etc but then he wasn't accepted? He didn't fit? Make it make sense...I mean I get it but it's just the lack of consistency for me.
4 stars because the lead wrote it and started in it. I appreciate the creativity or lack there of. 4 is kind of generous.
