Better than the Lacey Chabert version by far. Not as good as some other ones I've seen, better than many, so it's average in this particular spin of the genre; and there have been oh so many movies like this I've lost count.
Woman wishes for a different life, and she gets it, only to realize its not what she wanted. They should've titled it Christmas knock-out. Fact is, she was knocked out when she fell, it probably wan't a dream, but "dream" rolls off the tongue, and leaves a softer impression.
I enjoyed it, it checks all the boxes of this trope (seems to be the obligatory word). I rather enjoyed the alternate reality, it was robust and lively, and it was looking pretty positive until the end. How can "Dorothy" find her way back home "Kansas". Where are the glass slippers, or should we say glass ornament.
The end was wrapped up very nicely, and for me elevated my final rating from a 6.3 to 6.6.
