Flat and Predictable

Warning: Spoilers
Normally I'm a fan of single room dramas and thrillers but this one was bad. The cast did well but there was zero depth to the characters and the conflicts were predictable and boring.

The final conflict was pathetic and they were way to in your face with the setup. They did almost nothing with what was revealed with the call ins. The drugs were an incredibly lazy way to lead into the drowning story and they ignored everything else that happened during the sequence.

The whole thing felt like Kate was being extremely unreasonable at every turn with no real explanation and Michael didn't really seem to do anything meaningful to move the plot other than receive the random gifts.

This was a great concept but probably one of the worst executions I've seen in the genre. I kept watching hoping to get to the twist that would make it all worth it but by the end I felt like I wasted my time.
