The interactions with the large family are very refreshing and fun. The leads have instant chemistry which helps make for an enjoyable experience. Take all the Hallmark cookie cutter aspects and then add a slightly serious tone with some slightly traumatic turn and you have an average movie. Throw in some average humor and romance and good old fashioned tension, and it's still an average Hallmark installment. Now mix in two absolutely charismatic performances, and you have a good film. This is where we land. It's not great, it's not bad by any means. It went a bit slow for a while. I might watch this every five years.
Interesting twist at the end. Did not see that coming. Maybe I should have?
