very entertaining !

This is somewhere between a farce and a comedy with some very witty lines. There are well-drawn and acted characters and beautiful Calabrian scenery and a great group of children : so I think kids would enjoy it. The take on Catholicism is fair for a small village in southern Italy with a very decent priest doing his best with siblings who complicate life for him and parishioners who have their own ideas about the best way of dealing with the events which keep coming at a good pace throughout the film. The love interest is understated (which helps to make this suitable for children !). My wife and I enjoyed it very much.
