Didn't meet expectations

Warning: Spoilers
I loved the original Wedding Veil trilogy and in particular Lacey Chabert's movie last year, so my expectations for this first film were high. Unfortunately, I was disappointment by the first entry in this year's trilogy.

Avery's "too perfect" persona and creating drama for the sake of drama were grating. Telling Emma and Tracy about the pregnancy before Peter and pursuing the elusive "perfect" moment to tell him was plain silly. Yet she had time to gossip about her mother-in-law's love life to her friends, which seemed regressive for her character. The invented dramas with the house made zero sense given money is no issue for the couple.

Avery's dresses were on point as usual, and she and Peter are a great couple, but this film lacks the magic of the original. Here's hoping the other two films of this year's trilogy are better than this one.
