Dante Lam Chiu-Yin who won the best director of the Hong Kong Film Awards with Gordon Chan Ka-Seung for "Beast Cops" (1998), returned to his favorite type of gangster action films, and once again collaborated with screenwriter Ng Wai-Lun in "Beast Stalker" (2008). The films brings out the three protagonists through a car accident, the detective Tong Fei played by Nicholas Tse Ting-Fung, the lawyer Ann Gao played by Zhang Jingchu and the murderer Hung King played by Nick Cheung Ka-Fai, their respective fates. In addition to the speeding action scenes in the film, the two spent a lot of space describing the three characters.

Tong Fei accidentally killed Ann Gao's daughter when he was chasing Cheung Yat-Tung, a fugitive played by Philip Keung Ho-Man. Later, Ann Gao took over Cheung Yat-Tung's case. The gangsters instructed Hung King to kidnap Ann Gao's daughter, and threatened her to hand over important evidence of the case, Cheung Yat-Tung's blood sample at the robbery scene. Tong Fei managed to rescue Ann Gao's daughter in order to atone for his sin.

The film has a fairly comprehensive description of the murderer, Hung King. He takes good care of his paralyzed wife, Li played by Miao Pu, and takes good care of her. In addition, his eyes are amblyopia caused by accidents and gradually become blind. When Nick Cheung played the handicapped villain who was scarred both physically and mentally, he used extremely depressed and restrained acting skills to express the inner pain, cruelty and humanity of the character. The difficulty is beyond what ordinary actors can handle. Coupled with restrictions such as stunt makeup and other restrictions, all of which have hindered the performance. Nick Cheung's restrained tension and sudden explosive force made the role full of flesh and blood, and also made him successfully praised and won the Hong Kong Film Awards for the Best Actor throne.

In the film, Hung King and Li, the murderous couple, on Hung King's blindness and dying, and he was by Li's side before telling the audience that this was a smart move. It's not until the end that the audience realized that the couple was also the victim of the car accident, and that the fate of the three protagonists was already tied to the front line.
