Offensive

Warning: Spoilers
I found this film really quite offensive and had to check when it was made to see if it was a number of years ago but no, 2020. A man is allowed to be a brutal monster- with no apparent consequence for him and he is rewarded, as are the (male?) viewers, with a full frontal female nude at the end. Good grief. This just beggars belief. It does not matter one jot that this is a man suffering grief. Are we to take from this study that an emotionally frozen man can beat up, abuse, threaten and injure everyone around him just because his wife has died? How about having a character who might ask why his wife had an affair instead of brutalising her lover?

This film could only have been made by a man and most of the glowing reviews seem to come from other men. Have they no insight at all?
