Lose the Accent
5 February 2023
I like this group of movies. I always like Lacey Chabert. What I really didn't like was the terribly unconvincing Boston accent from the male lead that came and went. It was very distracting. It bothered me in the first movie and even more this time. I can't think of a good reason for it to be used. The character's mother didn't exhibit it.

I like the enduring friendship between the three women, but wonder why the other husbands don't show up a bit more. It would help with the continuity.

I found myself feeling that the ending was taking too long to arrive. It wasn't my favorite, but I'll keep watching. (I have now met the Minimum character limit which had me trying to come up with more to say even though my first paragraph was really all I wanted to convey.).
