As I get older I'm enjoying violent movies less and less. I saw this 30 years ago as a teenager and loved it. Loved the bikes, guns, fighting, action etc. Today? Not so much. This movie was definitely a product of the time though. When Stallone, Arnold and Van Damme ruled the big screen.
The plot was just so ridiculous but of course you were expecting that going in so I can't knock it too much.
They had to take some of the violence out to get an R rating? Wow. What was it like before. My issue wasn't the violence, I had a problem that it was used as filler. I guess with a plot like this, they had to do what they had to do.
