It took me about half the first season to truly warm to this show. But then the whole setup just...It locked into place. It had real human experiences without being too serious about itself. Many of us watch TV to laugh, to escape. If we see something we understand, or learn something about another culture by accident, my gosh, what a delightful side effect.
This show never fails with the laughs. The characters are brilliant and beautiful. The familial intersections - could not ask for better. In real life, it's too serious. I need something to remind me of the absurd. This show fits the bill.
