Like many others, I found it boring and somewhat confusing. I started watching but stopped after about 20 minutes. Didn't delete the recording but continued days later. Why did the step mother kill people? Why even include that in the story? Totally irrelevant.
Nothing against the actors. The plot was slow. Nothing remotely exciting happened.
Bring back Aurora Teagarden, Fixer uppers, Garage sale mysteries, Murder 101, all series with Allison Sweeney, etc. All much much better.
Please don't let this be a series. There are so many excellent cozy books that could be turned into movie series, why not adapt one of them? Would make for better viewing.
