I was looking forward to this series, however I really struggled to watch it and enjoy it.
I absolutely love Interview with the Vampire and the film adaption with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt was perfection, so I admit that perhaps I spent too much time comparing the series to that.
I just felt it was very slow. I don't have a problem with things being slow and drawn out, however, it still should hold you captivated and this failed to do so for me.
I didn't have a problem with the casting or acting.
It looked good and they casting was great.
The sets were wonderful as was the costuming.
But again, it really left me feeling flat and like it was missing something.
