I saw Weird Al in concert the other day and he joked about whether anyone had seen Weird: The Al Yankovic Story before it was actually released in this country. Quite a few people put their hands up and he called them all "vandals" It was of course a prelude to "Don't Download This Song"
The concert was great, he is a very talented musician. So I watched Weird: The Al Yankovic Story and it was very funny right from the get go. Lots of hidden easter eggs and cameos from his showbiz chums.
I knew what it was going to be like as soon as I saw Cap'n Crunch and Raisin Bran boxes on the breakfast table.
Daniel Radcliffe is a treat - but is Al's chest that hairy ?
The only part that fell a bit flat for me was too much Madonna, their interactions not that funny. Otherwise good fun movie definitely worth a watch.
