I didn't want to see this, but I got a used copy on eBay for $1.33 with free shipping! I'm ok with a simple story, and this one is simple but it's not well told. The producers made certain they pushed the "message" in this story too. I wonder if the lack of humanity was purposeful. Starting at the beginning when the creepy one eye monster throws a bus at Strange. He splits the bus in half and doesn't even glance back as it careens into the people behind him, or justifies a man beating himself for 3 weeks when he demands payment for his product. There is of course the lunacy of fighting with the one eyed monster and that not being able to hold Strange's attention because he has to pause to make a snide comment resulting in him being knocked out.
The battles with Wanda are just awful. There's no thought to them, just a nail being struck by a hammer, no one tries tactics.
This movie certainly had its moments. It was very visually appealing, but it seemed to be another scene the same as the next.
