Paula (2017)
8/10
Great cast, good plot

The show's pacing is excellent, with each episode slowly building the tension. The acting is also superb, with Denise Gough delivering a powerful performance as Paula, and Tom Hughes did a fantastic job as usual, bringing a creepy and unpredictable energy to his role.

What sets "Paula" apart from other similar stories is its exploration of power dynamics, manipulation, and psychological abuse.

The cinematography and direction also deserve praise, with each shot carefully crafted to enhance the mood and atmosphere of the show. The use of lighting and shadow, in particular, is effective in creating a sense of foreboding and unease.

Overall, "Paula" is a thought-provoking and harrowing exploration of the darker aspects of human relationships, and is definitely worth a watch for those who enjoy psychological thrillers, although personally i didnt like the end and i felt more sad about James than Paula.
