A Question of Contamination
1 April 2023
This very poor man 'VIPs' is a film so obscure it doesn't even rate an entry in Denis Gifford's 'Catalogue of British Films', and is one of several films that have recently acquired new topicality through it's use of an epidemic; presided over by a severe-looking Totti Truman Taylor in classic fifties glasses.

Made in a corner of Bray studios with several old hands behind the camera (including cameraman Walter Harvey) and a typically frivolous score by Wilfrid Burns. Those ordered to observe this particular lockdown are an uncooperative bunch, since three of them promptly go straight over the wall (Helen Cherry promptly changing into a chic little air hostess's uniform while the police continue looking for a woman in a blue suit and fur hat).
