He then takes his frustration out on his only teenage son who would then makes other people miserable by using counterfeit money to retrieve his stuff back. Igniting a pessimistic chain of reactions toward other people, as it's another movie about multiple characters in the same tradition of "Babel", "Contagion", "Crash", and "Crossing Over" to name a few.
The one that involves a couple of police officers was inconsistent devoid proper protocol, which killed the credibility for the rest of the film experience.
