I enjoyed this movie. The mystery was complex. And it had a serious tone that's rare with Hallmark mysteries. The acting was good enough for me.
The story's theme seems to be about the ugliness in people -- how well they hide it, what it can drive them to do, and if they're willing to trust others to resist it.
Another reviewer complained that Frankie is mean to others. But, once the whole backstory is revealed, no wonder she's got a chip on her shoulder!
I wonder if they'll do a sequel. It's a pretty self-contained story. It's not like the light-hearted mysteries, where an amateur detective gets into the habit of investigating one case after another.
