A true portrayal of the Cossacks Love for the Orthodox Church and Holy Mother Russia. An excellent view of Ukrainian folk flavor. One of the many beautiful lights in Multicultural Russia. A testament to Ukrainian coping skills as they realize their place in history and the future. Excellent costumes and the battles are good enough for the story but could have been improved. The horses in the movie are beautiful, I understand that 150 were used. Obviously the reviews here will be mixed. A fair amount of copium is being consumed by, shall we say the more Ultra-Right wing, as they get a healthy dose of reality.
