"When will the English learn not to be too damn formal?"

Warning: Spoilers
This is a busy film with German soldiers being infiltrated into England, Dunkirk, the Battle Of Britain, Operation Sea Lion, the Blitz on London, sabotage at radar stations and a romance. Which is to say that it moves along and doesn't bore. It looks good most of the time apart from the use of stock footage and the occasional split or multiple screen which doesn't add much. In the cast I liked Luigi Pistilli and Francisco Rabal as the German spies and Renzo Palmer as the hilarious Sgt. Donald Mulligan. The movie was perhaps a little too long and the Van Johnson character could have been dropped not adding much to the story. Plaudits must go though to the tremendous music score by the prolific Francesco De Masi. On the whole, pretty exciting.
