At first, I was excited by the rags to riches story, then I Googled it and found out it's fiction. A woman named Lynne Greenfeld was the person assigned to bring spicy snacks to the Frito-Lay brand. This was in response to Frito-Lay losing market share to spicy snacks being sold at gas stations in Chicago and other Mid-West locations.
