This maybe my favourite episode I've seen yet of Maverick! And who would have thunk it that it would be Roger Moore's first solo episode at Beauregard Maverick.
It is so different, so much fun and not too cringe worthy like I've found some previous Maverick's. Except maybe the poor Stage Driver and old timer seeing a town that wasn't there and then it is again! But that's so funny! And despite the fact that Beau talks a townspeople to keep moving their town to try to get the best of a Railroad man, this episode is much more linear than most episodes.
Of course the highlight of any show is John Astin, here in one of his early roles being one of his crazy but oh so loveable characters. This episode is an absolute golden hoot- sorry make that a silver hoot!
