I enjoyed Sniper 3 more than it's predecessor. That's not to say part two wasn't a solid action film - it was - but the third and final instalment in what I call the Tom Berenger chapter of the ongoing franchise was a better storyline.
There are some really good action sequences and the almost-expected double cross element - seriously, does any special operations mission happen without some nefarious secondary mission - but where Sniper 3 shines is in bringing Master Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Beckett full circle, taking him back to Vietnam, where he served as a young Marine during the war there.
Beckett gets deeper and deeper into a conspiracy that began back in the war. Solid entertainment. Once again, Berenger is great as Beckett.
