Jodie Foster is amazing performance as usual playing recently-widowed aircraft engineer and mother of a solemn little girl who is faced with terror and dread while on a flight from Germany to New York: her daughter vanishes and no one on-board will admit to ever having seen her.
It is great film about Mother's undying love for her child. For first watch you really feel the fear and anxiety of Kyle, and keep thinking what is happening: is she really losing her mind or is there some conspiracy behind her?
This movie keeps you at the edge of your seat, wondering if the daughter even is on the plane, suspecting everyone. Overall, great acting from Jodie and good plot.
