Good movie on Armenian-Turkish hatred
12 July 2023
A strong film, that shows along decades how hatred reproduces itself, how political issues are often difficult and without a clear right-wrong label, and how, although there is no full escape for certain problems, good motivations may open better possibilities. Revenge paths are indeed a history of craziness, where the right becomes wrong and the wrong never becones right. The discussion of the Armenian-Turkish question is very deep, layered and serious. Good movie. Characters's stories are well developed and meaningful for representing quite complicated social and political issues related to bigotry and violation of human rights.
