(1980) Final Cut/ Deathgames
PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER
Co-written and directed by Ross Dimsey that has aspired documentary filmmaker, Chris (Lou Brown) and his inspired journalist girlfriend Sarah (Jennifer Cluff) were given access to document and film actor/entrepreneur, Dominic Black (David Clendenning) and his close confident partner, Yvette (Narelle Johnson). And it is not long before Dominic exploits the situation by ordering his associate, Mick (Thaddeus Smith) to steal film footage of him incriminating himself. And as soon as Dominic invites him and his girlfriend Sarah to stay with him at his penthouse suite on the top of a high building with his partner, Yvette, it is not long before Dominic doctored their drinks with hallucinogenic drug on multiple occasions, to make them see things that are not there for the intention of playing them, his idea of fun. The idea is original but there's only so many times I can tolerate a couple to be fooled by their spiked drinks.
