Kingdom 2 just came out on Netflix and it is amazing. Fans of the manga will be extremely happy with this adaptation. The second film focuses on the warfare part of the manga while introducing key characters moving forward. The scale of the action feels realistic and huge, which helps the audience appreciate the brutality of war, albeit set in a semi-fantasy setting. The cast for this movie is fantastic and each of the key main characters really embodied the 'over the top' personality of each one. The main character Shin carried his amazing performance from the first movie and faithfully adapted the role from the manga. He is loud, annoying and brash - but ultimately, likeable.
