An odious , narcissistic man who literally everyone has ample reason to loathe disappears and is suspected to have been murdered by his young girlfriend who is stupidly devoted to finding him even as she learns he raped a virgin, outed a trans woman who was hiding her MAB status for her career, and tormented a mentally ill man with a past in a hospital.
Julie encounters an odd cast of characters in a remote seaside villa, including a wealthy and wicked sugar momma, an intellectually disabled teenaged orphan who is obsessed with kissing her, and a mafia thug around 60 who is exactly as creepy as that sounds but is apparently her only ally as the Italian Manson family keeps trying to kill her for being too curious about the late, loathsome Lucas.
It's very well directed and has lovely cinematography, it's one of those giallos worth watching for the aesthetics.
