Biosphere (2022)
2/10
Boring and unwatchable nonsense.
1 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know what was worse, the constant blah blah blah "dude" blah "dude" blah blah verbal diarrhea, or the annoyingly constant Two and a Half Men theme song minus the "Mennnnn" prior to repeating the chorus for almost two hours.

This nonsense has got to be the most boring and ludacris waste of film I've seen in a very long time. After about 40 mins, I lost my patience and kept fast-forwarding scenes waiting for something to happen, but alas, after a painful, dull, tedious, cringeworthy and eyeroll-filled 106 miserable minutes of nonsense viewing, I was left wishing I had stared at that green-dot laser in the sky the entire time instead, as it was more interesting.

The co-writing duo and director Mel Eslyn and Mark Duplass need to find a new hobby, because filmmaking is not for them. Listed as a comedy, drama and mystery, the comedy was infantile, the mystery a green laser pointer, and I've seen better drama at a nun convention.

I'm willing to bet a tub with two fish and a green laser pointer this mess will clean up like a bed sheet with a small hole at the Razzie Awards. It's a generous 2/10 for the great performance by Sterling K. Brown doing his best with what the estrogen-riddled uninspiring filmmakers gave him to work with. If you're considering watching this, do yourself a favor, and burn out your retinas staring into a green laser pointer, it'll be more entertaining.
