Review of Carry on Teacher

By 1959's "Carry On Teacher" (the 3rd in the iconic Brit-com 'Carry On' series) director Gerald Thomas & writer Norman Hudis were beginning to get it right with their first lol moments (like the itching powder scene) and a semblance of actual plot (as kids led by Richard O'Sullivan sabotage the visit to their school from Leslie Phillips (legend) & Rosalind Knight, to keep their headmaster Ted Ray (in his only 'Carry On' due to a subsequent studio dispute)). The cannon-fodder teachers in the firing line include 'Carry On' regulars like Kenneth Williams, Kenneth Connor, Charles Hawtrey, Hattie Jacques & Joan Sims. Not bad, but better were to come.
