I was pretty locked into the movie pretty much from the beginning. Maybe because me and my friends were somewhat similiar to this group growing up (not even close to the extreme), but needless to say, I found that the main characters were believable. It's a slow burn for sure, but tension gradually builds as the run time goes on, and the ending is worth the investment of time.

I wish they went a little bit more into the history of the town and dove deeper into what was really going on. Also the special effects were underwhelming, but I give it a pass because of clesr budget constraints. Some of the townsfolks' acting wasn't that believable, but the amount of screen time they received doesn't really take you out of the experience for long, if at all.

If you're a fan on found footage and slow burn movies, this is worth a watch in my opinion, and is much better than the current 4.4 rating. I'm glad I gave this one a chance.
