First 10 minutes are the Best depiction of urban guerrilla war fare I've seen. Considering the year made, the location and the minuscule budget this is a remarkable film. Baghdadi would have developed into one of the great filmmakers had he lived long enough. Depicts the chaos of the generational Lebanese civil ware were enemies and allies constantly shift and realign, where wanton violence and brutal bloodshed occurs with nonchalant casualness. A rawness seldom seen on screen, more a documentary feel than fiction.
Absurdist, Kafkaesque, insightful performances with an ending that haunts me eternally.
