There is also the backstory Timon´s past with his family, as they watch out for the hyenas. In the 2000s the cartoon sequel madness was big, as this was one of the better ones while Disney live action remakes also began to be a thing every summer. Some jokes are good, and other are dated and stereotypical like the snail eating part. The movie is only an hour, and it is a big cash in for the kids and Disney collectors. But beside that it is movie to stream on Disney+ for the whole family if you want an hour of fun as we wait for Mufasa and maybe more The Lion King follow ups this decade.
