To me, this movie is very interesting! Well, the story is very simple.
Rachel (Isabella Rossellini) falls in love with Jonathan (Aidan Quinn) who is a nice psychiatrist. But Jonathan is always working hard, at that time Rachel meet James (Aidan Quinn 's double role) who is Jonathan 's twin brother. James has the same Jonathan 's face, but his personality is very different.
James also is head over heels in love for Rachel, and he approaches her passionately. At first, Rachel rejects him, but finally starts a relationship with him too.
James is very happy with Rachel, but he notices that he is no more than time killers for Rachel. Then James starts upset and meanwhile Jonathan suspects Rachel 's affair...
This movie tell us that sometimes love claims somebody's life. The scene what James attempts force a joint suicide in a frenzy makes frightened to audience.
Both of twins are hurted by Rachel. Jonathan is pretty sure a hard-worker, but on free time he spents very happy with Rachel always. There is no reason to affair!
James also is faithful to Rachel, and wants to be in a serious relationship with her.
About the ending, I think that Rachel can't run away from him. Because his love is very severe. If she rejectes him, he'll kill her and himself...
Aidan Quinn 's double rolle is excellent! He plays very good both of different characters. Very rational Jonathan and love-crasy James. I like both of them, and praise Aidan's talent!
