Review of Young Jim Hardie

I have mixed feelings about learning Jim Hardie's back story. Great thing about this show is you don't get into the detectives personal life. Still there's plenty of action including a bar fight. It was a great format for this show. The last season veered off into giving Jim a home life. In this movie, it's good to see an underrated character actor in John Dehner. It's intriguing to hear what someone else thinks about Hardie. No surprise to learn early Hardie was a drifter. These cowboys would be lost without a job, and it's often law enforcement. This was true about real life cowboys, too. It's good to see Jim develop a moral compass.
