The trailer didn't do it justice at all, Mujib movie gave us quite a few fascinating scenes in a very unexpected way. But it was not perfect, the list will be very long if we want to calculate the shortcomings. So I understand that Shyam Benegal ended the movie with the death of Sheikh Russell. Really like the whole movie, the killing scene of baby Russell in the dying lap of Bangamata numbs all the senses for a while.
Mujib is an emotional movie. Once you get into the emotion, you will enjoy the rest of the time. But the absence of some historical characters, events in the second half will spoil the attention. And if you remember the scenes of the August 15 incident, you will really feel numb for a while
