I'm not what you'd call a fan of horror movies. I don't gravitate toward the genre and I almost never seek horror movies out, but the trailer on this one, caught my attention.
This movie, builds his terror with tension drama and mystery, not by creating the pervasive sense that some creepy thing will pop into the frame at any moment.
The story follows a knight templar on a mission to confront an evil creature that holds a stolen relic, the power he holds gives him strenght and powers, and all the land is in ruins and evil has possessed all.
We see a lot of people taken by the evil and killing others, and witches working for the creature casting spells to take over the knights, all of this with a castle invasion that leads people to loose their houses.
And the church knows this and tries to fight against all of this.
A good movie.with great cinematic instincts.
