The biggest issue you can have with an all powerful entity is that they are all powerful. There are no limits to the villain's abilities, no protections, no balance. The acting isn't terrible, though some of the kids are flat. The script is just a bit loose overall. The protagonist is too much of a passive participant all the way through.
The paralysis demon is not a bad concept. It can illicit the right feelings in an audience. We've all had those waking dreams or woken up while briefly not being able to move. If done right, it can be a frightful viewing experience. This only gets halfway there, unfortunately.
