The Book from Andreas Eschbach was one of my favourite thrillers when I was about 14-16 years old. The first half of the book was awesome, the second half was decent. If they'd done that with the series I would have been satisfied..
Firstly starting in Berlin, when the book stars in New York is a sign that there was not enough money available for such a great book.
And secondly coming to a conspiracy in the second episode and adding characters and diffaming others, that were actually really good ones in the book annoys me!
Please screenwriters I beg you, keep with the books!
