This incredible musical drama for the ages, by a great director, and featuring an ever impressive all-star cast for the ages, is definitely deserving of all the praise it has gotten, and one of the best of the year for sure.
The actors all do an incredible job, as one would expect from such a legendary cast, everyone gives it their all, and it is easily some of the best performances of their careers. All of this accompined by a great script, lots of drama, some humour, and an all around catchy score surrounding it.
The cinematography, cutting and editing is splendid, very beauitfully put together, to say the least.
The score is, as mentioned above, splendid, very catchy and adds to the tone of the film gracefully.
Overall, definitely an incredible classic, that I would highly recommend for any lover of film!
