A moving lifeline of a simple small boy
17 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Directed by Christian Duguay and starring Felix Bossuet, this film is the sequel of the 2013 movie "Belle and Sebastian".

The action takes place in the small french town in the latest 40s after World War II. One day, terrible news comes to the town: the plane on which Angelina (the niece of Cesar, Sebastian's adoptive grandfather) was returning home, unfortunately crashed somewhere in the Alpine forests. No one except Sebastian believes that the girl could have been saved. Later Sebastian and his dog Belle are going to look for Angelina.

The characters are skillfully played, Felix Bossuet also gives a great performance as Sebastian. The screenplay holds your attention from beginning to end. So the plot is really gripping and fascinating, the storyline is moving. The soundtracks are inspiring. And of course, the photography is STUNNING. I was captivated by the amazing landscapes:)

For me the word that best describes this movie is fascinating. It's my favourite film! I enjoyed watching it. In my view, it's suitable for kids and adults alike.
