As far as I know, that's the only film speaking of Scott F Fitzgerald's life, at least the second part, not the first, when he was with his first wife, who was sent to a psychiatric hospital. Gregory Peck is awesome in this role, the tortured writer, a close performance to the one he had in another movie: THE SNOWS OF THE KILIMANDJARO, directed by the same director Henry King, for whom Gregory Peck was the fetish actor, with Tyrone Power too. The latest film was inspired from Ernest Hemingway, a close friend of Fitzgerald. Henry king seemed to be highly inspired by Fitzgerald, he gave us TENDER IS THE NIGHT, also adapted from Fitzgerald's novel.
