The concept was intriguing to read. The execution is done well. It is akin to a play with generally two characters dominating the screentime, with a lot of back and forth. This has controversial, conservative (American POV) themes such as abortion as an insult to God et al and was predictably, panned by the critics. Flanery gives a masterclass in acting. He is unbelievably and scarily good in both the vulnerable and predator like avatars. 85 minutes long, it is well edited. If you are in the mood for a intellectual back and forth that touches themes such as existence, God, purpose, demon, give this a shot. Not bad at all.
